SPLATTED BEECH BOWL

This decorative yet functional bowl/platter has been designed and hand crafted by David Martin in his workshop on the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales the United Kingdom . This bowl/platter is unique and a one of a kind piece.

The Timber used to create this piece comes from
a wind damaged beech tree, which was felled in the area of Llanarth, near Abergavenny in South Wales the United Kingdom . The Splatted effect
on the timber is caused through decay and fungi within the timber, which was sealed to stop any further decay. A natural Bees wax from beehives in West Wales was used to produce the
finished shine.
